Sizing Tips for Kids

Size by height, not age. A child's correct size is their body height in centimeters — the age column is only an average guide.
Layering allowance. If the child will wear the garment over a mid layer, size up one step for room to move.
Between sizes? Choose the larger size for a looser fit, or the smaller for a closer fit.

How to Measure

Ask a friend to measure you while you stand straight and relaxed, without shoes, wearing only close-fitting clothing.

Body Measurements

Chest / Bust. Measure straight under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest or bust. Keep the tape level and snug — not tight.
Waist. Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, at your natural waistline.
Seat. Standing with feet hip-width apart, measure around your hips at the widest part.
Arm Length. Bend the elbow slightly, then measure from the centre back of the neck, over the shoulder to the elbow, and down to the wrist.
Inner Leg Length. Stand straight and measure from the crotch down the inside of the leg to the floor.
Head. Measure around the biggest part of the head, just above the eyebrows.
Foot Length. Stand and measure from the heel to the tip of the longest toe.

Measuring Tips

Measure over an undergarment or base layer only — bulky clothing distorts the result.
Keep the tape horizontal and comfortably snug; it should not compress the body.
Take measurements in centimeters for the closest match to the charts.
Write every measurement down and compare against the table rather than guessing from your usual size.

Singi-X Trousers for men are made of G-1000® Stretch with stretch panels in the yoke and hip area, designed to give a flexible fit that adapts to your body shape. The seat and thigh areas are roomy enough for base layers underneath while the lower legs are tapered to reduce bulk and risk of wear and tear. They have multiple functional pockets, integrated ventilation and an integrated, detachable webbing belt. Articulated knees with openings for kneepads (an accessory). Adjustable leg endings with boot hooks.
